The first step of AI for Business is the question every business owner wants to answer: How can this technology help us with our business? To contemplate that question, however, is the task of Multicultural Mailer, which will be holding its next workshop this month in Hillcrest.
Taking place on Thursday, 29 October 2026, the event runs from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Two sessions will link business value with the larger topic of enterprise execution. The emphasis here is on thinking beyond ChatGPT and how AI connects with how our businesses do business.
Themes for the session are helpful for local business owners and leaders. Before we start thinking about the broader adoption, we can think about the value it means for our business. Come have a morning based on these important business questions with us at Multicultural Mailer Hub.
Why Explore AI for Business Beyond ChatGPT?
The workshop presents two interrelated questions. What are the potential benefits of AI for a company? But how do we take a simple use of it to a transformation of how a business works?
The event is directed by these questions. Theme: The Path Towards Autonomous Enterprise, which pulls this into a more general business context. In addition, the flyer emphasizes enterprise-wide AI execution in that direction.
It gives us, as business owners, a pause for reflection. We can talk about what we seek from AI, rather than how to use it. The two session titles of the workshop put those decisions at the heart of the discussion.
Themes generated by AI Business workshops can be most relevant if we apply them to our own questions. Maybe we have some interest in using AI. Perhaps we are also asking ourselves what the business value should be in our context.
This event provides a focus on those questions with two separate session topics.
Session One: From AI Hype to Business Value
The first session will be titled “AI at Work: From AI Hype to Business Value.” It focuses on the question: “What is AI capable of for my business?”
Keeping the business in mind by asking that question. It challenges us to reflect on our intent for research into AI and our expectations of learning. So rather than coming in with a general interest, we can have our business needs in mind.
This is the first of a series of presentations that will be featured on the flyer designed by Dr Mahmood Rashid, AI Scientist at NEXZ. His name on the speakers’ list adds an AI science flavor to the event.
The title of the session is a nice way to begin the morning. When listening, we can do so with business value in mind and reflect on what feels pertinent to us. That may start by just defining the question we want to look at the most.
Write that question out in everyday words before going to attend. Do not be too broad in the interest and keep it to our business. This is a suggested way to prepare, rather than an additional item on the workshop agenda.
Session Two: From AI Adoption to Enterprise Execution
The second session is titled: From AI Adoption to Enterprise Execution.” It takes the discussion from using AI to the way a whole business works.
The idea of the flyer is to make the question about making a transition from using AI to transforming a business. This makes sense based on what we covered the first time: Value. The themes bring together the idea for a business of what AI could be and the question of broader execution.
This second session is presented in conjunction with Dr Kushal Ahmed, Founder & CEO at NEXZ. The programme consequently has speakers who hold leadership positions in AI science and business.
The perspective for business leaders is quite different when it comes to the enterprise AI execution theme. Let’s look at the broader picture of our interest in AI in relation to the business. This helps to keep the bigger picture of the organisation in mind when considering adoption.
We don’t need to come with the answer to these questions. The first step is knowing what we are interested in in the discussion. We can then observe the relationship between the two session themes and that interest.

Making the Morning Relevant to Our Business
This workshop can be approached from the perspective of the small business owner and/or small business leader in Hillcrest and in the region. The two topics have different starting points for reflection, depending on our interests.
The first session specifically addresses the theme of value if, in fact, the primary question is about value. For the second session, if the interest is in adoption, then the enterprise execution is the focus. It is helpful to read the two topics beforehand so that we can come to the morning with a direction.
- To make the preparation easy, three points are noted:
- The most desirable knowledge about AI in action.
- The reason why that question is important to our business.
- How it relates to business value and/or broader execution.
These are not guaranteed workshop activities, but suggestions for preparation. They can be used to link advertised themes to our own priorities while maintaining an open mind.
During the event, it is also possible to take notes for later reflection. Then we can return to our starting question and look at what may need more consideration. Our goal is to make this workshop relevant to our decisions.
